Winged Mobile
I did a simple project today with the little ones at the after school program: bird and butterfly mobiles. I happened to have some shapes to use as templates - so that made it easy. Each child selected 6 patterned papers. Out of each one they traced their shapes and cut them out. We used a length of twine, just applied glue stick on each shape, placed the string, and the second shape on top. A knot at the top to hook on and a heavy bead at the bottom to give the mobile some weight. Then, well it was so nice out, the kids ran out to play - before their butterflies could be plastered with stickers...!
